David Mighall

I am a widower, father of grown-up twin sons and grandfather to three young and adorable grandchildren.

During the mid-1970's I practiced Kung Fu for approximately six years. I was first introduced to Tai Chi Chuan in 1983 when I studied Yang Style under Master King Hung Chu until Master Chu relocated to Europe in 1993. I began to study Wu Style at the London Academy in 1998. I was most impressed with the dedication, openness, knowledge, and skills shown by its practitioners.  I became a Wu Style Disciple in 2002. Through my continuing study of Wu Style, I am beginning to discover the true essence of Tai Chi Chuan.

I was fortunate to have received expert instruction from Sifu Gary Wragg at his London Academy and Grand Master Eddie Wu Kwong Yu at his London, UK seminars. I currently train and teach under the watchful eye of Sifu Don Spargo at the Archway Academy, London, UK.

If you are still wondering how to pronounce my surname, it is with a silent "g" and sounds like "Myall" (old English).
